We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator / planner to join our client’s team based in Staines. The successful candidate will have previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet, or a similar operational environment, with strong geographical knowledge and excellent organisational skills.
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | Office-Based | Staines
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating daily driver routes
- Liaising with drivers and managing day-to-day queries
- Ensuring drivers complete all required vehicle and safety checks
- Monitoring routes and dealing with any delays or operational issues
- Managing emails and general transport administration
- Preparing transport quotes and responding to customer enquiries
- Updating schedules and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the wider transport team with daily operational requirements
Airline or aviation experience would be an advantage, particularly if you have worked in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, confident, and able to work under pressure. You should have good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and be comfortable dealing with drivers and customers on a daily basis. This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday, with working hours between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
