We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fine Art Operations Manager to join their specialist logistics operation. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing international shipments from quotation through to final delivery, while helping develop the processes, suppliers and structure of the Shipping division as the business grows. Location: Ashford, Middlesex Hours: Monday to Friday Salary: DOE Key Responsibilities Manage international shipping jobs from quotation and booking through to delivery and completion. Arrange air, sea, road and courier transport for bespoke shipments. Prepare and manage freight quotations, shipping documentation, customs requirements and shipment instructions. Build and manage relationships with international agents and suppliers, including negotiating rates and service levels. Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, agents and internal teams. Take ownership of shipping issues and ensure they are resolved efficiently. Develop and improve Shipping procedures, processes and working standards. Work closely with Sales, Accounts and other Operations teams while retaining ownership of shipping jobs. Support the development and future growth of the business.
