My clients a well established international freight forwarder are seeking a OCEAN TEAM LEADER to join there lively medium sized team. Daily duties would include: Ensuring the smooth running of the ocean freight department Handling ocean import and exports operations Customs entries FCL & LCL Arranging delivers and collections Arranging billing for VAT/ Duty Liaising with shipping lines & customers Quotations Monitoring market trends Building relationships with clients, airlines and overseas agents Liaising with all departments on a daily basis Attending weekly meetings with operational team Reviewing KPI’s with branch manager to identify areas of improvement Skills needed: Must have at least 5 years+ experience dealing with ocean imports Excellent communications skills Hands on approach to the department PC literate Outstanding customer service skills Team player Working Hours: Monday-Friday 0900-1730
