We are recruiting for an experienced IMPORT CLERK to join a medium sized freight company in Colnbrook.
You must have experience working within freight and within imports including customs entries and clearances.
The Role Coordinate and manage air import shipments from start to finish.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
Arrange customs clearance and ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant.
Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, customers and hauliers to ensure smooth movement of freight.
Track shipments, resolve any issues and provide regular updates to customers.
Ensure all files are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
Update and maintain shipment records Work closely with the wider operations team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
What We're Looking For Previous experience working within Air Freight Imports .
Experience managing and supporting key accounts .
Understanding of customs procedures and import documentation.
