Our client is looking for a
Transport Operations Coordinator to join their team. This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a busy environment where every day is different.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating transport, working with suppliers and subcontractors, supporting administration and helping to maintain high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and plan transport requirements using company vehicles and subcontractors.
- Build positive relationships with suppliers and help ensure high service levels.
- Process purchase and sales invoices and complete regular reporting.
- Ensure cargo security procedures and relevant documentation are correctly followed.
- Monitor transport costs and support cost-effective solutions.
- Liaise with Accounts and Credit Control when required.
- Provide support within the warehouse as needed.
- Identify and support opportunities for positive change and improvement.
