Air Import Clerk to join their busy and expanding operations team.
Shifts available
Monday to Friday
As an Air Import Clerk, you'll play a key role in ensuring import shipments are handled efficiently from arrival through to final delivery.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll liaise with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers to deliver a seamless service.
The Role
- Coordinate and manage air import shipments from start to finish.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Arrange customs clearance and ensure all import documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, customers and hauliers to ensure smooth movement of freight.
- Track shipments, resolve any issues and provide regular updates to customers.
- Ensure all files are completed accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Update and maintain shipment records using Cargo Wise.
- Work closely with the wider operations team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within
Air Freight Imports .
- Good working knowledge of
Cargo Wise .
- Experience managing and supporting key accounts .
- Understanding of customs procedures and import documentation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
