We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing healthcare group based in West Molesey, who is looking for an experienced Group Accountant to join their finance team.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the financial management and reporting of multiple group companies. The successful candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
Location: West Molesey
Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM - Fully Office Based
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts, tax computations and consolidated accounts.
- Produce monthly management information and quarterly reports for senior management and banking partners.
- Monitor bank gearing ratios and financial compliance.
- Manage HMRC matters, including PAYE, Corporation Tax, payments and queries.
- Prepare annual budgets and ongoing financial reports.
- Manage daily cash flow, bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
- Coordinate payroll and BACS payments.
- Maintain accurate Client Account records.
- Oversee the accounting function across multiple group companies.
- Liaise with HMRC, auditors, banks and other external stakeholders.
- Manage accounting systems, including QuickBooks.
- Support and oversee finance staff and contribute to improving financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legislation and company policies.
About You
- At least 5 years' accounting experience, ideally within a group or multi-company environment.
- ACCA/FCCA / CIMA qualified .
- Strong knowledge of accounting, tax and financial reporting.
- Excellent Excel and accounting software skills, including QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
