Are you an experienced surveyor with a passion for infrastructure projects and building strong client relationships? We’re looking for a Senior Associate (Infrastructure) to join our client's growing team in Bury St Edmunds. This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday). We welcome candidates from a broad range of surveying backgrounds and offer hybrid working to support your work-life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Advising on and managing infrastructure projects ranging from local schemes to national programmes.
- Providing land consultancy advice on diverse work types – from maintaining existing assets to installing new infrastructure.
- Supporting clients in managing relationships with landowners and navigating professional and statutory requirements.
- Leading on land referencing, compensation negotiations, service of statutory notices, and acquisitions of rights.
- Liaising with landowners and handling public enquiries.
- Contributing to wider business projects and reporting project progress directly to clients.
- Mentoring and supporting graduates in the team, helping them achieve their career goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- MRICS or AssocRICS qualification (preferred)
- Strong project management and IT skills
- A confident, clear communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
