Burberry are hiring a Team Manager to lead and inspire a team of three in our Heathrow location. This role plays a key part in creating exceptional customer experiences, developing client relationships and driving commercial performance within a fast-paced luxury retail environment. Working closely with store leadership, you will empower your team to deliver personalised service, cultivate long-term client connections and bring the Burberry brand experience to life. Through coaching, collaboration and operational excellence, you will contribute to the continued success of Burberry and its customers.
As a Team Manager your key responsibilities include:
- Partnership with store management to enhance sales performance, consistently achieve goals and identify strategies to ensure performance standards are exceeded.
- Analyse store performance as well as KPIs, reporting current business trends, as well as competitor performance, to ensure further business growth.
- Demonstrate leadership by playing an active role on the shop floor through client engagement and promoting brand awareness.
- Monitor CRM database reporting in order to assist in the execution of company CRM initiatives.
- Ensure all of your team members have sound product knowledge and are aware of company policies and procedures, coaching them and providing feedback.
- Ensure all training materials are cascaded to the teams to ensure they use the content to drive key pillars of the strategy.
- Create and implement action plans, build development plans for all employees in accordance with store management.
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous supervisory or management experience, with the ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in luxury retail, driving a department's sales and profitability while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance customer focus and business objectives.
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of POS, store systems and comfortable using digital tools.
- In-depth understanding of clients' expectations and what a luxury service entails.
- Genuine interest and love for fashion and styling paired with excellent product knowledge.
- Organised, able to prioritise and problem solve while working with pace.
