Kone are looking for a VB Inspector – Lifts to join our Heathrow team on a night shift pattern. This role focuses on the inspection, testing, and verification of escalators to ensure they meet KONE safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out VB inspections and testing on Lifts
- Identify defects, wear, and safety risks
- Ensure compliance with KONE standards and industry regulations
- Complete accurate inspection reports using KONE systems
- Work closely with service and repair teams to plan corrective actions
- Support safety audits and site procedures
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe working
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working on Lifts in a service/inspection environment
- Good technical understanding of escalator components and safety circuits
- Ability to follow inspection processes and report clearly
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Able to work night shifts Mon–Thu
- Full UK driving licence and ability to meet Heathrow clearance
