Pro Steel Engineering is looking for a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to provide temporary support.

This is a varied role that will support several areas of the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our operations.

The Fixed Term Contract is expected to last for the duration of the project (6-9 months) and would suit someone who can quickly adapt, work independently, and provide efficient administrative support within a busy engineering environment.

  • Supporting document control processes, including scanning, filing, archiving, and maintaining records.
  • Managing both electronic and paper-based documentation systems.
  • Assisting with the preparation, distribution, and tracking of project documents.
  • Providing administrative support to various departments across the business.
  • Inputting and maintaining accurate data and company records.
  • Handling incoming correspondence and general office administration duties.
  • Supporting operational, commercial, and project teams with ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining organised filing systems and ensuring documentation is readily accessible.
  • Support with the organisation of obtaining Airside passes
  • Must have previous administration experience
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Share Point
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills
  • Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, or document control would be advantageous but is not essential
