The scope and complexity of Heathrow’s strategic programmes will cover a range of requirements. Working within the airport’s complex and sensitive environment, this role requires possession of strong leadership and high energy to inspire and lead the Programme team. We have 8 Programme Lead opportunities as part of the Heathrow Expansion Mega Programme.
Opportunities:
- Surface Access - Road: The Southern Road Tunnel Lead is responsible for driving all programme management activities required to develop a coherent, integrated plan for the new Southern Road Tunnel and its associated infrastructure.
- Clear the Space (Major Displacements): The Clear the Space Lead is responsible for coordinating Heathrow’s interface with all organisations impacted by the displacement of existing buildings to enable the Expansion Programme.
- Utility Diversions: The Utility Diversions Lead is responsible for coordinating Heathrow’s interface with all statutory and commercial utilities organisations to develop a coherent, integrated delivery plan for the diversion, protection, and upgrade of utilities infrastructure surrounding and within the airport estate.
- Natural Environment: The Natural Environment Lead is responsible for shaping and coordinating all delivery-planning activities related to biodiversity, habitats, landscape, waterways, and environmental protection measures across the Expansion footprint.
- Surface Access Rail: The Surface Access Rail Lead is responsible for all rail-related programmes required to support the Expansion Programme.
- Airfield Infrastructure: The Airfield Infrastructure Lead is responsible for driving all programme management activity related to the development of new airfield infrastructure associated with the new third runway.
- Terminals: The Project Lead for Terminals is responsible for driving all programme management activity associated with the development of new terminals for Expansion including T5X West and T5X North.
- System Integration: The Systems Integration Lead is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end integration of all systems required to support the Expansion Programme’s asset, operational, technical, digital, and infrastructure environments.
