The scope and complexity of Heathrow’s strategic programmes and capital regulation requires clear efficient processes that adhere with our regulatory responsibilities ensuring we protect shareholders' investments through efficient recovery of capital investment through the regulated asset base.
This role requires a proactive individual who has strong leadership and stakeholder management skills along with high energy to inspire, influence and lead both the Programme teams and the Airline community.
Your role will involve:
- Development & delivery of the Capital Framework & Protocol to ensure Heathrow maximises efficient capital investment delivery with minimum delays, risk or uncertainty.
- Ensuring that all capital investment is incurred in a manner which ensures inclusion in the Regulated Asset Base with end to end leadership and management of Ex Ante and delivery obligations.
- Ensuring that Heathrow maintain and continue to grow strong Airline community working relationships, working together to support Heathrow’s strategy to deliver an extraordinary airport fit for the future through our capital investment.
- Ensuring that our programme teams are fully supported across all regulated capital requirements.
- The deployment, engagement with, and performance of the Independent Fund Surveyor, who are jointly appointed by Heathrow and the AOC.

Working Location: Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
