Your role will involve:
- Building, running and maintaining complex airport capacity models and assumptions’ data sources, including sensitivity testing to identify potential solutions and opportunities for the business.
- Working together with the Demand Planning Managers to align the seasonal capacity declarations with projects affecting capacity and the wider business strategy for capacity unlock and release.
- Presenting complex ideas, evidence and technical outputs concisely, accurately and clearly in both verbal and written form to senior, internal and external stakeholders, often to a non-technical audience.
- Proactively seeking out and delivering continuous improvements to forecasting and analytical capabilities of the team.
- Engaging with others in the business to identify and deliver opportunities for improvement.
- Working with the airport community to ensure access to data sources and tools that enable development and improvement to models and methodologies.
These skills are essential:
- Experience in airport planning and/or airport capacity roles.
- Hold a degree in numerical discipline, ideally with a focus on airport planning, operations or air traffic management.
- Strong technical and analytical competence, ideally with a planning background.
- Understanding of IATA ADRM guidelines for facility requirements and service level standards.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience in using CAST Terminal and Express modelling software.
- Programming experience in PowerBI and Databricks.
- Broad knowledge of the wider company or aviation industry.
