This role will create and lead Development’s Capital programme and project resourcing approach to ensure people and resources are planned and deployed effectively across capital programmes. You will turn forecast demand and programme information into clear, practical resource plans that support efficient delivery, improved capability, and value for money.
Your role will involve:
- Produce short‑ and medium‑term resource plans aligned to capital and development activity.
- Plan, allocate, and balance resources across the portfolio to meet programme priorities while ensuring optimal utilisation.
- Maintain and continuously improve the resource demand forecast model, incorporating programme milestones, pipeline demand, attrition, and capability gaps.
- Create and own the deployment approach for internal, contract, and specialist resources.
- Provide actionable insights on productivity, capability gaps, and resourcing bottlenecks.
- Ensure high‑quality Management Information to support planning, forecasting, People Committee requirements, resource forecasts & demand profiles.
