You’ll be part of a Customer team that drives our profitability across everything from retail, property and airport transport, through to passenger services, forecasting and contracts with airlines. You’ll help us to get the balance right – not least so we can continue investing in an airport that leads the world.

This role will act as a key ambassador for Heathrow and Heathrow Express brands, manage the relationship with key partner accounts, identify opportunities to grow B2B sales channels with new and existing partners. Please note this role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your role will involve:

  • Manage a range of existing commercial partnerships ensuring opportunities to drive growth in revenue and passenger volume are exploited.
  • Ownership of commercial relationships with a combined value of £6m.
  • Identify new key sales and distribution opportunities that align with Heathrow Express' business strategy.
  • Ensure new partnerships are delivered and nurtured according to process, carrying out assessments to ensure a solid ROI for any new partnerships or agreements.
  • Develop key growth and marketing plans with individual partners to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Onboard new partners into Heathrow API distribution technology and ensure technical requirements are completed by the correct stakeholders.
  • Onboard new partners into Heathrow and Heathrow Express technology, such as APIs, white labels and aggregators, ensuring technical requirements are completed by the correct stakeholders.
  • Ensure a timely resolution to any issues or concerns raised by partners or customers.

These skills are essential:

  • Experience of account management or developing external partnerships.
  • Commercially aware, with trading, planning and forecasting experience and a clear understanding of ROI and profits.
  • Strong experience of the travel industry gained through airline/travel agency/destination management/ground transportation type roles.
  • Proven work experience managing and growing sales through third parties.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and present data to others.
  • An understanding of industry sales and distribution channels such as API technology/GDS systems/aggregators.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders internally and externally up to CEO level.

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
