You will lead independent reviews within the Quality Assurance function, shaping governance and risk practices across Heathrow’s significant investment portfolio. The position offers influence over high-value decisions and opportunities to elevate assurance standards in a regulated, infrastructure-heavy environment. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive governance readiness and value-driven delivery. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salaries /li li performance-based annual bonuses /li li Share in Success bonuses /li li generous annual leave /li li market-leading pensions /li li private health insurance /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead independent assurance reviews for major programmes and projects across Heathrow, providing evidence-based insights to senior governance stakeholders /li li Oversee delivery of the assurance programme within the Capital Governance Framework, aligning it with risk appetite and governance standards /li li Develop and improve assurance methodologies, embedding best practice and continual improvement /li li Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to programme teams to support governance readiness and risk mitigation /li li Coach and mentor Assurance Managers, promoting a consistent, high-quality assurance approach and professional growth /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong understanding of governance, risk, programme or project delivery and application of assurance principles in complex environments /li li Ability to analyse risks, evaluate controls, and communicate findings to senior audiences /li li Relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience in assurance, governance, risk, audit, programme delivery or related discipline (APM PMQ, PMI PMP, MSP Practitioner, or similar) /li li Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills /li li Demonstrated leadership, resilience, and adaptability in fast-paced settings /li li Experience in large and regulated capital delivery organisations (preferred) /li li Experience coaching or facilitating governance-related workshops /li /ul ul li Interpersonal skills /li li Stakeholder management /li li Leadership /li li Governance and risk management /li li Assurance methodologies /li li Programme and project delivery in regulated environments /li /ul
