The Oracle Solution Architect role will lead the definition, communication and implementation of Heathrow IT architectures and roadmaps, to drive IT strategy and goals in support of business priorities for the relevant domain. To provide governance, expertise and leadership within HAL IT Teams, the wider 3rd party stakeholders and support partner network for their domain or the wider enterprise.

You will also own and optimise Oracle EPM solutions at Heathrow, ensuring financial planning, workforce planning, and reporting capabilities are robust, governed, and aligned to business strategy.

Working Location: Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.

Experience with Oracle EPM solutions and EPBCS. Strong grasp of driver-based planning, workforce planning, master data management and accounts reconciliation. Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud modules: Planning, Enterprise Data Management, Narrative Reporting and Account Reconciliation. Experience in defining architectural direction and harnessing innovation for business benefit. Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical finance teams.

Desirable: Experience of large corporate processes, systems and information. Demonstrate sound decision making when dealing with a major outsource supplier. Oracle Planning Certification. Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS).

Develop and maintain Heathrow’s EPM architecture strategy and 5 year roadmap that deliver the strategic IT goals, business priorities and comply with HAL’s IT, industry and regulatory standards. Effectively communicate IT architectures and roadmaps, translating complex technical architectures and strategies into understandable and actionable items for the various IT and Finance stakeholders. Provide governance and oversight, maintaining the integrity and coherence of IT initiatives across Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL) IT teams.

Technical Owner of Oracle EPM platforms (Planning, EDM, ARCS, Narrative Reporting). Lead configuration and functional optimisation of EPM modules, including configuration integrity of EPM applications. Ensure financial data integrity, consistency, and reconciliation, including accuracy and reliability of financial planning and reporting data.
