Heathrow is on a flight to extraordinary and requires modern, digital and connected systems and processes to power a winning team, extraordinary experiences and underlying core business processes that are efficient, effective and scalable. Its core people processes are centred in the Oracle cloud platform with additional specialist systems and processes across the colleague journey. Delivering digital transformation and enabling the data and insight to make its critical business decisions.
The purpose for this role is to continually and digitally transform, optimise and maintain the People products, systems, interfaces and processes of the Hire to Retire process. These core processes are business critical and enable Heathrow to operate effectively and be fit for the future.
Working closely with Business and Policy Owners, technical teams, project delivery partners and our Services teams in Glasgow, you will act as the bridge between business requirements and technology solutions. As part of the Business Services function, you will be part of the leadership team helping ensure that People, Finance and Procurement systems and processes are aligned, integrated and deliver maximum business value.
You will also ensure that all solutions operate within established governance, compliance, risk and data protection frameworks, safeguarding the integrity, security and effective use of Heathrow's data. This is a highly influential role, offering the opportunity to shape the strategic roadmap for Heathrow's corporate systems, drive transformational change and ensure our processes, technology and people capabilities continue to evolve to meet the needs of the business both now and in the future.

Significant experience leading HR systems, digital transformation or business change programmes, with a proven track record of delivering cloud-based HCM solutions.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end People processes, including Talent Acquisition, Learning, Talent Management, Employee Relations, Payroll and Reward.
Experience leading agile, cross-functional teams and delivering change in complex, fast-paced environments.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive successful adoption of change.
Strong understanding of digital technologies, data governance, risk management, compliance and data protection requirements.
Experience working with Oracle Cloud applications, particularly HCM, with knowledge of ERP and EPM platforms advantageous.
A collaborative, benefits-focused approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, lead through change and deliver measurable business value.
Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for People systems and processes, ensuring they remain modern, scalable and aligned to Heathrow's future business needs.
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements, transformation initiatives and continuous improvements across the Hire to Retire lifecycle.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, service providers and operational teams to prioritise and implement change that delivers measurable business value.
Build and deliver project plans, securing stakeholder engagement, managing risks and driving successful adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working.
Influence and leverage product roadmaps from key technology partners, including Oracle, whilst actively participating in customer communities and industry forums.
Lead internal specialists and third-party consultants to support system development, maintenance, optimisation and transformation activities.
Ensure systems, processes and controls comply with governance, audit, risk management and data protection requirements, maintaining robust documentation and change controls.
Champion Heathrow's digital future by driving data and systems integration, identifying opportunities for innovation and working with Service Delivery teams to strengthen business continuity and operational resilience.
