As a Quality Manager, you’ll help enhance and maintain a robust quality management system that ensures our projects and suppliers meet the highest standards. This will help us to deliver ‘right first time’ and underpins behaviours that support good governance and ultimately contribute to our excellent safety culture. This role is central to maintaining trust, compliance, and continual improvement across Heathrow’s capital delivery.You’ll work with senior stakeholders and suppliers to ensure quality expectations are clear, measurable, and consistently achieved. Working LocationOur Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow. Qualified Lead Auditor with practical experience in ISO 9001Lead Auditor implementation and auditing.Report writing and presentation skills, with ability to clearly and confidently communicate to influence at all levelsStrong understanding of supplier quality management and contract compliance.Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and handle challenging conversations constructively. A high degree of self-awareness and empathy is key to this.Experience in developing or maintaining quality management systems within large or regulated environments.Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and recommend practical solutions.Ideally you will have Experience of quality management within aviation, major infrastructure or complex, large-scale capital delivery or supply chain environments. Experience of IT quality management approaches, including quality assurance, governance and continual improvement.Lead supplier audits and quality assessments to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Heathrow’s quality standards.Develop and maintain Heathrow’s quality management framework, ensuring it supports consistent and effective supplier performance.Evaluate supplier quality systems and provide constructive feedback to drive improvement and accountability.Support tender evaluations and contract reviews to ensure quality requirements and KPIs are embedded from the outset.Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate findings, influence decisions, and promote a culture of quality across the supply chain.Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and ensure responsibilities for quality are clearly understood and upheld.Full timePosting Date:
