Enterprise Architect

As part of our Architecture and Strategy team, you’ll provide the vision and leadership that ensures Heathrow’s technology landscape is robust, scalable, and aligned with business priorities. Success in this role means creating architectural frameworks that enable innovation, reduce complexity, and support Heathrow’s sustainability and growth objectives.

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Expertise in designing and governing complex, integrated technology landscapes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with Heathrow’s business goals and technology roadmap.
• Lead the development of architectural standards, principles, and governance processes to guide solution design and delivery.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable technology strategies and roadmaps.
• Assess emerging technologies and provide recommendations on their potential impact and value to Heathrow.
• Oversee the integration of systems and platforms to ensure interoperability, security, and scalability across the enterprise.
• Provide expert guidance to solution architects and delivery teams, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture principles.
