We are seeking an Interim Health and Safety Manager for a fantastic client in Kent. This is an initial 3-4 month contract with the potential to extend. My client is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager who can start ASAP and hit the ground running.
You will split your time between the office in Kent and visiting sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide competent Health and Safety Advice and guidance
- Implement robust HSEQ systems throughout the organisation
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Record data, maintain the training matrix, liaise with external regulators and ensure statutory compliance
- Complete risk assessments, site audits, inspections and investigate incidents and accidents
- Keep safety documentation current, report risks to the board and create a positive safety culture
- Induct staff, deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and run Health and Safety committee meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or working towards
- Experience in the Construction, Telecommunications, Utilities or Civil Engineering industries
