Heathgate Search is delighted to partner with a leading Real Estate business in London to appoint a Health and Safety Manager. The salary is up to Β£55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + car allowance. This is an operational position that involves regular travel across England to visit the commercial property portfolio and ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation. Your time will be split between travelling to sites, working from home and visiting the London office. You can be based in the South East of England as this is a national role. Responsibilities:
- Provide competent Health and Safety advice and guidance
- Update the property management risk register, conduct risk assessments and carry out audits and incident investigations
- Ensure all commercial property sites (Retail and Leisure) comply with health and safety legislation
- Help to mobilise new sites and assess key health and safety risks
- Support site-based teams by providing appropriate training, producing Health and Safety documentation, and advising on best practice and legislative compliance
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or an equivalent level qualification
- Experience in the Property Management, Retail, Leisure, Facilities industries or a transferable sector
- The ability to coach and advise site based teams and stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Keep up to date with Health and Safety legislation and industry best practice
- A can do attitude, positive mindset and the ability to work autonomously
- You must have a valid licence and be eligible to live and work in the UK
