We are delighted to partner with a leading Real Estate business in Stratford to appoint a Building Safety Assistant. The salary is between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and you will be required on-site full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator and deal with queries
  • Record mandatory occurrences and prepare building safety cases
  • Assist with gateway control submissions and liaise with the London Fire Brigade
  • Help to manage all risks and demonstrate best practice
  • Identify areas of non-compliance

Experience, Skills:

  • Experience dealing with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) and submitting mandatory occurrences
  • An understanding of Building Safety Cases and awareness of the gateways
  • Experience with safety management systems and knowledge of building safety and fire safety legislation
  • The ability to interpret legislation and engage with stakeholders
  • A background in Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Building Safety, Fire Safety, Housing, Property, Asset Management or Compliance
  • Great I.T and administrative skills
