About the Role
Heatherlands Pharmacy is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis.
As a private pharmacy, we focus on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmaceutical services in a professional working environment.
We are looking for someone with previous pharmacy dispensing experience who can work accurately, efficiently, and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operation of the dispensary while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Previous UK pharmacy dispensing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of pharmacy procedures and medicines management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label private prescriptions.
- Prepare and assemble prescriptions for final pharmacist checking.
- Process prescriptions using the pharmacy PMR system.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records.
- Receive, check, and manage pharmaceutical stock.
- Assist with stock ordering and inventory management.
- Ensure the dispensary is clean, organised, and compliant with pharmacy procedures.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GPhC standards, and relevant pharmacy regulations.
- Support the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
