The Opportunity
HeatherDaniel International is representing a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy seeking a high-caliber SHE & CDM Manager. This is a pivotal interim role with the potential for permanent transition, focusing on the strategic and operational oversight of Safety, Health, Environmental, and CDM systems.
The Mission
- Compliance Leadership: Drive ISO 45001 standards and ensure total CDM 2015 compliance across diverse construction and design portfolios.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the technical authority for duty holders, providing practical, expert guidance to design and construction teams.
- Oversight: Monitor and audit Principal Designers and Contractors to mitigate risk and ensure excellence in delivery.
- Performance: Lead incident reviews, performance reporting, and liaison with external accreditation bodies and regulators.
The Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary construction/design environment.
- Expert knowledge of CDM 2015 and ISO 45001.
- Public Sector Experience: Highly advantageous (specific focus on local authority/government frameworks).
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on operational approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
