Your responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children
- Build positive relationships with children, whānau and colleagues
- Deliver an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that fosters a love of learning
- Complete developmental assessments and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with the team to plan and deliver enriching experiences
- Act as the person responsible for the centre, as directed
- A qualified and registered teacher with a passion for early childhood education
- A genuine interest in working with children aged 3-6 years, with flexibility to work across the preschool environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to creating a positive, nurturing learning environment
- An interest in, or experience with, the Montessori philosophy
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 30-35 hours per week
- The legal right to work in New Zealand. We are not currently offering visa sponsorship for offshore applicants.
