The Role

We are seeking a talented creative Print Designer to join our dynamic in-house Design team. Reporting to our Creative Director, you will be responsible for creating and delivering exceptional artwork that brings product collections to life across multiple brands and markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Artwork Creation & Direction: Design and develop high-quality artwork for new and existing product ranges, from concept through to final production. Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and the Creative Director's vision.
  • Print Design & Production: Take ownership of print design projects, including creating and refining patterns, illustrations, and colourways. Manage the end-to-end creation of preliminary and final artworks, inputting all required information, regulatory symbols, and product copy.
  • Product Layouts & Visuals: Produce product layouts on cutter guides and create realistic, commercial product visuals for internal and external presentations. Collaborate with the NPD team to ensure accuracy and visual appeal across all brand touchpoints.
  • Point-of-Sale & Campaign Materials: Design engaging POS materials and marketing assets that support retail campaigns and maintain brand consistency across all retail partners.
  • Team Support & Development: Mentor and support junior members of the design team, fostering their creativity and skill development. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and collaborative projects with NPD and Marketing teams.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple simultaneous projects, maintaining organised digital files, meeting tight deadlines, and providing regular progress updates to senior management.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years' experience as a print and graphic designer, ideally within FMCG, packaging, or retail product design.
  • Creative Excellence: Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in pattern design, illustration, typography, and layout principles. Evidence of successful collection concepts and commercial product design.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), with knowledge of production specifications, file management, and print production processes.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of brand guidelines, retail requirements, and production constraints. Ability to balance creative vision with commercial viability.
  • Collaborative Approach: Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively across teams (NPD, Marketing, Retail), and openness to feedback and iteration.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in artwork preparation, colour accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Keen eye for design excellence and brand consistency.
  • Problem Solving: Creative approach to design challenges, ability to manage competing priorities, and resilience under tight deadlines.
