We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 46 sessions per week.

Main duties of the job

Provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. The role includes routine GP consultations, management of acute and chronic conditions, reviewing and actioning your own Docman workflow, blood results, and prescriptions. You will work collaboratively with Partners, Salaried GPs, Nurses, ANPs, and the Duty Team to deliver safe and effective care. No home visiting is required. As a training practice, there may also be opportunities to support and contribute to education and learning within the practice.

Job responsibilities

Main Duties of the Role

  • Provide high-quality general medical services to the practice population
  • Undertake routine GP consultations, both face-to-face and telephone consultations as required
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with practice and national guidelines
  • Manage and action your own:
    • Docman workflow
    • Blood results
    • Prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activities where appropriate
  • Contribute to the supportive learning environment within our training practice

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centred care
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Good organisational and clinical decision-making skills
  • Womenโ€™s health
  • Coil/Implant
