We have an opportunity to join our Finishing Department as a Fabric Inspector, playing a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards before reaching our customers. Working within our Final Inspection team, you will be responsible for carefully inspecting finished fabric, identifying and classifying any faults, and ensuring all products meet customer specifications. Your attention to detail will directly contribute to maintaining our reputation for quality and technical excellence. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, consistency, and pride in your work are key.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspecting finished fabric to ensure it meets customer and quality standards
- Identifying, classifying, and recording faults accurately
- Measuring fabric and verifying specifications
- Trimming rolls in line with customer requirements
- Operating manual and powered trucks (full training and certification provided)
- Supporting a safe and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality standards (HS&E)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- A focused and reliable approach to work
