We take the approach of running 3-4 content series at one time, spotting outliers and doubling down, killing what fails, and iterating quickly. This person should have experience on social media, having applied their learnings and failures time and time again, and be comfortable managing 3 pieces of content per platform per day (often the same or similar). We have a team of editors who are great at this style of content; we need someone to turn these ideas that exist on paper into a reality across regularly planned shoot days.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the overall short-form content strategy across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
- Define content pillars, messaging, and brand voice.
- Translate business objectives into high-performing content plans.
- Generate consistent, high-quality short-form content ideas.
- Create repeatable viral formats and content series.
- Direct on-camera performance, storytelling, and delivery style.
- Plan and oversee content shoots (studio, remote, and in-the-wild).
- Manage videographers, editors, and freelance creatives.
- Maintain high standards across editing, pacing, and visual identity.
- Optimise content for each platform’s algorithm and user behaviour.
- Test variations (hooks, edits, formats) to improve performance.
- Identify winning content and double down quickly.
- Continuously iterate based on data and insights.
- Align content with monetisation goals (products, services, partnerships).
- Integrate organic storytelling with conversion-driven content.
- Support campaigns, launches, and brand partnerships.
