Oaklea House Day Nursery & Heath House Day Nursery (Hook / Fleet) is seeking a wonderfully special, welcoming and nurturing practitioner to support new families as they embark on their nursery journey and help settle their young baby into an early years setting.

We are excited to share two opportunities to become a Deputy Suite Leader – Babies at either of our settings in Fleet (Heath House Day Nursery) or Hook (Oaklea House Day Nursery).

Responsibilities:
  • Run a Baby Suite for 16‑18 children aged 3 months to 16 months in the Room Leader’s absence.
  • Support families as they embark on their nursery journey and help settle young babies into an early years setting.
  • Work collaboratively within a team and promote internal progression.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Level 3, 5 or 6 or QTS qualification, and experience as a nursery practitioner.
  • Valid First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding certificates (training provided).
  • Comfortable working within a team and with children aged 3 months to 16 months.
Hours & Pay:
  • Preferred: 41 hours over 4.5 days. Work/life balance considered; hours can be discussed to match session times.
  • Pay: £13.50‑14.00 per hour depending on qualification and experience.
Location:

Fleet – Heath House Day Nursery or Hook – Oaklea House Day Nursery. All settings within Hampshire area close to station.
