An experienced Electrical Construction Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Construction Manager with strong site delivery experience to take responsibility for electrical works within a technically demanding, large-scale construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical installation works on site
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site labour
- Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
- Review drawings, specifications and installation requirements
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, civil and other construction disciplines
- Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or issues
- Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation
- Attend coordination, progress and construction meetings
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and the wider delivery team
- Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications and relevant industry standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Construction Manager or Electrical Site Manager
- Strong electrical building services or infrastructure experience
- Experience delivering sizeable and technically challenging projects
- Good understanding of electrical installation, testing and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and work packages
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience within major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling or similarly complex projects would be advantageous
