About the role:
This is an exciting sales role initially based at our offices in Southside, Bredbury, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to support us in developing our sales base both across the UK and Internationally to increase our market share in a niche market sector of process heating. We predict that approximately 60% of working time will be spent out of the office meeting with customers (current and new).
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand customer base
- Achieving growth and hitting agreed sales targets
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Building and promoting long lasting customer relationships
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
- Provide daily reports of field sales success
- Achieve target margin levels
About you:
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrable track record in strategic sales development
- Commercial Sales Experience
- Clear approach to Sales Planning (new and existing markets)
- Experienced in industrial distribution relationship management
- Proven in customer relationship management
- Primarily B2B experience but some B2C useful
- Strong relationship building skills (external and internal stakeholders)
- Professional approach; great attention to detail, thorough in all aspects of work
- Experience in gaining benefit from best practice use of CRM
- Committed to continuous development
- The ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
- Availability for both UK and International travel
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively
- A full clean driving licence
