About the Role: We are looking for a creative, organised, and enthusiastic Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload and wants to contribute to the development and delivery of marketing campaigns that support business growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate marketing activities across digital and traditional channels, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring brand consistency across all communications.
  • Create and manage content for the company website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Plan and schedule social media activity to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Assist with the organisation and promotion of exhibitions, trade shows, customer events, and networking activities, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers, budgets, promotional material, catering, and communications.
  • Monitor marketing performance and produce reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Maintain marketing databases, customer contact lists, and CRM information.
  • Coordinate the production of brochures, presentations, case studies, and promotional materials.
  • Support internal communications newsletters and employee engagement initiatives where required.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Organise and coordinate company social events, employee engagement activities, charity events, and team-building initiatives.
  • Work closely with all internal departmental managers to develop and promote employee engagement campaigns and recognition programmes.
  • Support and maintain the company's vendor approval process/records, ensuring suppliers meet quality, compliance, insurance, sustainability, and commercial requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain positive relationships with approved vendors to ensure service quality and value for money.
  • Ensure all marketing and event-related suppliers comply with company procurement policies and approval procedures.

About you:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in marketing communications or coordinator role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience using social media platforms for business purposes.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems and SEO principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Confident coordinating activities with both internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance quality, cost, and business requirements.

Desirable:

  • Marketing qualification (CIM, degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design software.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.
  • Experience planning and coordinating corporate events, exhibitions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Experience working with procurement or supplier management processes.
