An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and highly respected financial planning firm based in the North Liverpool area. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility and the chance to work with a team of Chartered professionals in a top 100 IFA firm.
The Role
The Paraplanner will play a key part in supporting Financial Planners in delivering high-quality advice to clients. This includes conducting in-depth research and analysis, preparing suitability reports, and helping formulate financial plans aligned to clients\’ needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching and analysing financial strategies and products to support client recommendations
- Preparing suitability reports and supporting documentation
- Producing cashflow modelling and compiling financial data
- Liaising with product providers and ensuring smooth follow-up of client requirements
- Supporting Financial Planners with client presentations and annual review processes
- Maintaining a high standard of compliance in line with regulatory requirements
- Keeping up to date with legislative and industry changes
Requirements
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)
- At least three years’ experience in a financial advice practice
- Minimum of one year paraplanning experience
- Strong understanding of financial planning principles, products, and compliance standards
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings
