Our client are seeking a motivated, passionate and energetic leader to head up their team of New Business commercial insurance specialists.

You will be instrumental in driving business from a dedicated team and will have a key role to play in the development of the account executives.

Reporting to Board level, you will be tasked with designing and implementing a plan for our client's continued growth of GWP.

Applicants must have a results and target mindset and should have gravitas and charisma in abundance.

You must be a highly-effective communicator, adept at collaborating with sector specialists to leverage our client's unique business model and provide the team with strong access to warm leads.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and manage the new business sales team
  • Contribute to and manage the new business sales team target
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive growth
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to contribute to building a strong company brand
  • Support, train and mentor the sales team members to develop a culture of continuous learning and high performance
  • Produce MI reports as required to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, lead generation and average deal size
  • Identify areas for income generation & growth Required Skills and Experience
  • Demonstratable ability to achieve and exceed new business sales targets
  • Proven commercial insurance knowledge
  • Strong relationship building, influencing and team building skills
  • Ability to support and mentor others to encourage performance
  • Proficient in financial analysis and economic principles to manage policies and claims
  • Impeccable customer Service and communication skills
  • CII Cert or CII Dip qualifications
