A well-known national wealth management firm is looking for an Investment Analyst to take responsibility for a range of tasks related to portfolio management and operations.
Using FE Analytics, Factset, BlackRock 360 and Bloomberg to provide analysis for all meetings and holdings on the PCD Collectives List. Meetings include:
- Model Portfolio Service Collectives & Model Portfolio Service Direct
- IHT Portfolio Service
- UK Equity & Overseas Equity Strategy
Prepare commentary on performance using the contribution analysis on holdings in model propositions, and present in the meetings any findings. Assisting Senior Investment Analyst in checking monthly updates, quarterly factsheets and client meeting agendas. Pro-actively attending fund/external investment meetings and present any findings in internal meetings. Updating quarterly pitch decks in collaboration with Senior Investment Analyst and Investment Oversight Committee. Assisting Investment Managers with inputting trades into the internal system. Drafting Client Suitability Reviews and Investment Mandate letters. Preparing and checking Cost Disclosures (Ex-Antes). Producing Portfolio Review Service documents on an ad-hoc basis. Drafting and updating investment rationales.
Qualifications & Experience
YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BE CISI/CFA LEVEL 4 QUALIFIED AS A MINIMUM. Previous UK experience in investment analysis or portfolio management, within a wealth management firm is essential. Analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling techniques. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software as outlined above.
