Purpose of the Role:
Support advisers in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality financial planning to clients. The position is open to both developing and experienced paraplanners, offering clear progression and tailored support based on experience level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters across pensions, investments, and protection.
- Conduct research and analysis to support client advice.
- Gather and review client information to identify planning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and ensure adherence to FCA requirements.
- Work closely with advisers and administrators to ensure smooth client delivery.
- Support cashflow modelling, portfolio analysis, and technical reviews where required.
- Contribute to process improvements and assist with training where appropriate.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in financial planning, paraplanning, or a technical support role.
- Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Confident using financial planning systems such as Intelliflo, Voyant, or Cashcalc.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
- Working toward or holding the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
- Support provided for further qualifications, including Chartered status.
