With ambitious expansion plans and a people-first culture, we are looking for a detail-focused and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our Head Office team in Teddington.

As Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring our teams across Head Office and our sites are paid accurately and on time. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, Finance, People Team and Operations teams, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of payroll and tronc administration across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to grow within a successful and expanding company.

Payroll Administration
  • Supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Head Office and site based team members.
  • Assisting with payroll changes, including starters, leavers, salary changes, holiday pay, statutory payments and deductions.
  • Supporting payroll checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy prior to submission.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for payroll related queries from site and Head Office teams.
  • Assisting with maintaining accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
Tronc Administration
  • Supporting the administration of tronc in line with scheme guidance.
  • Liaising with sites to respond to tronc related queries.
  • Assisting with maintaining accurate tronc records and documentation.
Payroll Systems and Compliance
  • Maintaining accurate information across payroll and HR systems.
  • Supporting HMRC, pension, and other payroll related administration as required.
  • Ensuring payroll data is handled confidentially and in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager in ensuring payroll processes are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
Team and Business Support
  • Building strong working relationships across Finance, the People team, Operations and our sites.
  • Working closely with the Payroll Manager to support the smooth running of the payroll function.
  • Supporting the wider Finance team with ad hoc administration and analysis where required.
Continuous Improvement
  • Supporting improvements to payroll administration processes and ways of working.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, service levels and team member experience.
About You
  • Minimum two years of payroll experience.
  • Personable and approachable with a positive and collaborative approach.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Proactive and willing to support the wider team where needed.
  • Motivated to learn, develop, and continuously improve ways of working.
