This role provides strategic oversight across the full international performance remit, ensuring Hearts & Science delivers market‑leading digital excellence for ON Running across EMEA. As a central leader within our London‑based hub, you will align global strategy with regional execution, driving clarity, consistency and measurable performance impact across markets.
Role Overview
As an Agent of Change, you bring a forward‑thinking, solutions‑oriented mindset, using emotional intelligence and commercial rigour to turn complexity into clarity, data into meaningful direction and ambition into tangible business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Driving digital performance
Lead and define the performance program to enable teams to identify and implement performance‑enhancing solutions and learnings from across markets. Work with digital channel teams (search, social, programmatic) to ensure best‑in‑class campaign set‑up, execution, and optimisation across channels, with a consistent strategy shared between them. Maintain a daily drumbeat of performance dashboard analysis, evaluation, optimisation and insight. Analyse performance data daily and form optimisation plans with relevant channel teams. Implement digital channel roadmaps and optimisation frameworks and develop innovative targeting and creative options in conjunction with channel teams. Hold global and market teams accountable to the performance roadmap. Join and contribute to the global Heart’s performance community and work with global performance lead to fast‑track adoption of beneficial global support and share regional successes. Escalate support required from global Hearts & Science and clients.
- Performance Program
Focused on ‘quick win’ digital improvements, leading the end‑to‑end process globally and holding market internal teams accountable for their input/actions/optimisations. Primary performance point of contact for client, with direct engagement from the leadership team. Drive recommendations through performance analysis and collaboration with channel teams, ensuring learnings are implemented by all markets globally. Set the standard for regional performance reporting and evaluation case studies, aiming for a conveyor‑belt of best‑in‑class case studies, performance improvements and award‑worthy approaches that link results to business outcomes. Evaluate performance from a macro perspective to lead cross‑channel budget optimisations. Set up the project management processes to ensure seamless collaboration and awareness of planned actions.
- Performance Planning And Reporting
Lead the planning and consolidation of a single performance campaign response to brief and deliver to client. Define and deliver a performance forecasting and budget approval process, utilising a clearly defined data‑driven methodology and process. Connect optimisations within multichannel digital performance campaigns and ensure consistent output in collaboration with digital teams. Set reporting standards, including a regular drumbeat of short and long‑term performance reports that provide actionable and digestible insights for clients.
- Client Experience
Act as a primary point of contact for the client across performance planning, optimisation & innovation. Drive forward business continuity via client‑aligned quarterly priorities, QBRs & status meetings. Work with the client on the roadmap for digital maturity. Lead the cadence and creation of client‑facing case studies & opportunity showcases.
- Team Management
Direct line management of 1 performance manager, setting a learning & development path, objectives and offering ongoing support. Manage team workload across the performance program, prioritising as needed.
Skills/Experience
- History of driving success in performance‑focused campaigns in one or more digital channels.
- Broad knowledge of digital channels across PPC, SEO, Display, Social, Programmatic.
- Understand the requirements for delivering highest‑quality campaign/data insights & learnings, e.g., analytics with a big focus on end‑to‑end, onsite consumer journey, dashboarding, etc.
- Able to translate strategy and planning outputs into a coherent digital approach.
- Highly skilled at analysing data and surfacing actionable insights; relentless curiosity to look for opportunities to improve performance in reporting and dashboards.
- Ability to consolidate specialist input into one performance narrative.
- Knowledge of all digital media KPIs and a basic knowledge of how to achieve them.
- Confident presenting to and communicating with digital‑friendly clients, able to responsively address feedback and questions.
- Ability to turn complex technical problems and detailed campaign analysis into succinct client comms and business outcomes.
- Experience working to performance planning and forecasting process desirable.
- Innately proactive, always pursuing new ways of bettering campaigns and improving performance reporting.
- Confident managing, supporting and educating other members of a team, including senior stakeholders, junior reports and wider agency members.
- Drives change to deliver results and holds executional teams accountable to output, optimisations and consistency.
- Up to date knowledge of the ad‑tech landscape.
- Experienced in an agency environment or e‑commerce client‑side function.
- International experience preferred, international outlook essential.

Reports to Agency Partner, Digital (EMEA).
Residence
Omnicom, Bankside 2, Southwark Street, London, with flexibility as required for EMEA collaboration.
