We are seeking an experienced AAT-qualified accountant (minimum) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing a variety of accounting tasks for our clients and ensuring compliance with HMRC and Companies House requirements.
- Prepare and submit self-assessment tax returns
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage client payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain compliance with HMRC and Companies House regulations
- Use and manage accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Provide general accounting support and advice to clients
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and accounting standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
- Experience in a practice environment
- Knowledge of additional accounting software
