Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Shop / Furniture Fitter, located in Redditch but with national travel. The Fitter will be responsible for fitting and installing retail and hospitality interiors, working closely with project managers and the client site team. Daily tasks include assembling furniture, installing displays, ensuring all fittings meet quality standards, and troubleshooting any installation issues. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure timely project completion and adherence to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in shop fitting, carpentry, or interior installations
- Strong technical skills in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to travel to various project sites as needed
- Valid driver\’s license required.
- CSCS card required
- understanding of RAMs and H&S on site
- Relevant certifications or vocational training in construction or related fields
