We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Inclusion Manager & SENDCO to join our additional learning support team within an inclusive FE setting. You will manage a team that offers outstanding support to our learners with SEND and ensure that they succeed and achieve their highest potential. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of inclusion, high expectations of behaviour, motivation and success through excellent standards of inclusive teaching and learning and wrap around support.
In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students with Educational Health & Care plans and additional learning needs.
As an Inclusion Manager and SENDCO you will:
- Lead a team of staff to provide an outstanding student experience for all students with SEND
- Facilitate and advise on inclusive practice and quality first teaching within the classroom for a cohort of students within set curriculum areas
- Ensure SENDCO statutory duties outlined within the SEND Code of Practice: 0-25 Years are complied with.
You will have:
- GCSE grade A C / 9-4 in English and Maths or equivalent
- PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification
- SEND Qualification / SENDCo Qualification or willing to work towards this
- Experience of identifying the additional needs of learners and producing individual outcomes and plans.
- A working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
