The Heart of Yorkshire Education Group has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a small, friendly and positive team in our Construction department. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive environment where individuals can develop, thrive, and reach their full potential.
This role is challenging and varied, with opportunities to develop new skills and build your knowledge, whilst also bringing your own skill set to the table.
As a Workshop Trainer, your role will focus on providing technical support in the workshops for the delivery of the Construction curriculum, including assisting the teaching staff with demonstrating, instructing and assessing learners in practical activities associated with Bricklaying. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical abilities and pass on your trade skills, helping develop our students’ knowledge and understanding of the construction industry from a practical point of view.
You will have:
- GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- Level 2 qualification in a relevant vocational area or equivalent
- A First Aid qualification, or be willing to achieve within the first 6 months of appointment
- A wide range of experience gained within the Construction industry.
