Are you a passionate chef who thrives in a fast paced kitchen, and loves delivering exceptional service? We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering high quality food and providing excellent customer service.
You will:
- Support the Head Chef in managing all food production and service
- Deputise in the Head Chef's absence
- Play a key role in menu planning and continuous service improvement
- Lead and develop Catering Assistants and Catering Supervisors during service
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and customer service
- Manage deliveries, stock control and wastage
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen management and health and safety regulations
- Undertake cashing up at the end of service
You will have:
- GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Hospitality and Catering Level 2
- Experience in a similar role, and in a professional catering/food service environment
