We\’re looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Motor Vehicle to join our dynamic Engineering team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group ! This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your industry knowledge and practical skills to learners who are eager to start their careers in the automotive industry.
We are particularly interested in applicants with body repair and paint skills, but encourage applications from all.
About the roleAs a Lecturer , you\’ll deliver engaging, practical and theoretical sessions across a range of motor vehicle courses, ensuring every learner reaches their full potential. You\’ll create innovative lesson plans, support individual learning needs, and help shape a curriculum that reflects current industry standards and technologies.
You will:
Deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners aged 16-18 and adults
Develop and manage individual learning plans to help students achieve their goals
Use creative and engaging teaching to inspire learners
Track and support learner progress, attendance and achievement
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement across the department
Support Group events, such as open evenings and student recruitment activities
About you
You will hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant Motor Vehicle discipline
You will have GCSE in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
You\’ll have experience in a relevant industry and/or educational settingli>
A PGCE or other recognised full teaching qualification would be desirable, but not essential
