The predicted salary is between 5706 - 6132 £ per year.
We are seeking an ambitious, motivated and passionate individual to become a Personal Tutor in our Health & Social Care and Early Years department. The successful candidate will have opportunities to develop a wide range of skills through varied activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support new learner induction and help students transition into college life and their programme of study.
- Deliver engaging THRIVE group tutorials and maintain accurate records on ProMonitor.
- Conduct regular 1:1 progress reviews; set SMART targets and support learners to achieve academic, personal and career goals.
- Monitor learner progress, attendance and wellbeing; implement interventions to remove barriers to learning.
- Provide guidance and signposting to wellbeing, careers, finance, and additional learning support services.
- Safeguard learners by identifying and reporting concerns per college procedures.
- Maintain accurate learner records, including progress, support needs and risk assessments.
- Promote positive behaviour, student standards and learner engagement.
- Support vulnerable learners and liaise with internal and external support agencies to ensure appropriate provision.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to support learner achievement, progression and retention.
- Communicate with parents/carers regarding learner progress and attendance where appropriate.
- Support UCAS applications, progression planning, open events and student recruitment activities.
- Encourage learner voice, student representation and participation in enrichment, wellbeing and careers activities.
- Contribute to quality improvement, professional development and wider college activities, ensuring GDPR compliance and college policies.
