What We’re Looking For
We need someone with practical painting and decorating skills, strong attention to detail, hardworking and self‑motivated. The successful candidate will develop new skills across a range of maintenance activities within a welcoming, inclusive community that champions diversity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist trades in completing projects safely and efficiently.
- Support the Facilities Department with planned maintenance programmes.
- Maintain adequate stock of materials required for routine maintenance.
- Restore fittings, fixtures and associated items to working order.
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including painting and decorating.
- Maintain a valid First Aid qualification and perform first‑aider duties when needed.
- Act as Fire Marshall across the college.
- Participate in directed training and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
- Cover buildings when required for holiday or sickness cover.
- Adhere to the College’s Equality and Diversity policy.
