Essential

  • Level 2 (at least) qualification in both Maths and English, or a willingness to gain.
  • A degree or appropriate academic qualification.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or one must be obtained within a specified period).
  • A recognised qualification relating to teaching learners with SEND, ie Sp LD.

Desirable

  • Assessor qualification.
  • Higher Degree qualification.
  • General Skills

Essential

  • Relevant and recent experience of teaching SEN including Sp LD Moderate to severe learning difficulties including non verbal learners.
  • Delivering accredited and non-accredited (RARPA) learning and assessment.

  • Other relevant experience in related industry.

  • Ability to develop new curriculum offers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
